Bamboo Dental sweep up at Welsh Dentistry Awards
It was smiles all around at the Welsh Dentistry awards earlier this month as the Bamboo team picked up not one, but two awards. Having already been recognised in five categories of excellence, the judges agreed that Bamboo Dental deserved the title of Best Overall Practice. The Bamboo Team are overjoyed at the result and would like to thank all our patients for their loyalty, testimonials and support over the past year. Best Overall Practice was a special title to win for us as it recognises our hard work not only with our private patients but with our NHS patients too. We give only the best care and treatment to our patients and its wonderful to have seen our hard work acknowledged. Bamboo Dental also picked up the award for Best Marketing for their great work in dental digital marketing such as dental social media and dental google ads campaigns. Dr Daniel Rogers, head dentist and practice principle said… “It’s an amazing feeling to have won this award. Attending the awards were our team of dentists Dr. Daniel Rogers, Dr. Oliver Spencer, Dr. Catherine Jones, Dr. Catherine Hemingway and Dr. Caroline Grant. Joining them were our practice managers Natalie Rogers and Bonnie Jones, dental nurse Brydie Connolly and our marketers Max Roberts and myself, Samuel Knight. On arrival to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, the team were welcomed with a champagne reception. Excitement, nerves and conversation filled the air. 4th Street Traffic were the musical guests of the evening, providing some entertaining rocky covers. Before the awards were handed out, we all sat down for a delicious three course meal, accompanied with wine. Our first award of the night came in the form of Best Marketing. The marketing team have always joked that if we can get people to come to the dentist, we can get anyone to do anything! But it isn’t as difficult as it sounds. Attitudes toward dentistry have changed dramatically over the past twenty years. People are choosing to come to the dentist now because they want better teeth. They care more about their teeth now. We’ve become a nation thats interested in taking better care of ourselves, and in looking the best we can be. As cosmetic dentistry has enhanced, so has our desire to visit our dentist. People come to Bamboo Dental because we offer only the best for our patients, with treatments performed by only the best dentists. Our awards speak for themselves. As the final award of the night was called for Best Overall Practice, everyone in the room was on the edge of their seat. Best Overall Practice is the big one. It’s the dental equivalent of Record of the Year at the Grammys, or Best Actor or Actress at the Oscars. It’s the award everyone wants. It’s an award which recognises the strengths of the team, of both the NHS and Private treatment and of patient satisfaction and general performance. We were delighted therefore to hear that Bamboo Dental would be taking the award home. Dr. Daniel Rogers and Natalie Rogers were on hand to collect the award as the team cheered. We couldn’t have been happier.
